Make a folder in your storage publicly accessible on the web. Experimental feature with .htaccess support.

What is vhost?

Virtual hosting lets you turn any folder in your c33b storage into a live website. Point a subdirectory at the web, configure it with .htaccess, and serve your content directly.

What you can do

• Instant web presence - Any folder becomes a public website at your-username.c33b.org/folder-name
• Custom configurations - Use .htaccess for URL rewriting, redirects, access control, custom error pages
• Static sites - Host HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and assets without complexity
• Hybrid workflows - Let AI agents manage files via MCP while serving them publicly via HTTP
• Sandboxed experiments - Test ideas, prototypes, or personal projects in isolated folder spaces

How it works

Virtual hosting is currently experimental and requires manual activation. Here's the flow:

1. Organize your folder - Structure your content under a specific directory in your storage (e.g., /public-site/) 2. Request vhost access - Join our Discord and ask for vhost activation on your chosen folder 3. Configure and deploy - Once activated, add your .htaccess rules, and your site goes live 4. Access your site - Visit your public URL and share it with the world

Your folder remains part of your regular FTP/MCP storage. Edit via Claude, upload via FTP over TLS (FileZilla, lftp), or manage however you prefer - changes appear instantly on the web.

Experimental status

This feature is in active experimentation. We're learning what works, what breaks, and what users need. Expect:

Security notes

• Your vhost folder is publicly accessible - don't expose sensitive files
• .htaccess can restrict access, but folder permissions apply globally
• Rate limiting and resource quotas may apply to prevent abuse
